14YRS OLD BOY REMANDED FOR DEFILING HIS 3 HALF-SISTERS AGED 2, 5 AND 10YRS

A 14-year-old boy was, on Monday, remanded on the Oregun Correctional Home for Boys by an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly defiling his three step sisters, Punch reported.

The teenager, who resides in No. 11 Olayinka Adenubi Street, Mafoluku, within the Oshodi space of Lagos, is dealing with three counts of defilement, indecent assault and sexual abuse, whereas his mom, Ihuoma Oke, is dealing with a cost of parental neglect.
The teenager pleaded not responsible to the costs.

It was gathered that he forcefully had carnal information of the victims, who have been his stepsisters and aged two, 5 and 10 years, respectively.

According to the police prosecutor, Simeon Imhonwa, the victims advised their caregiver, who reported the matter to the police, resulting in the arrest of the accused.

Imhonwa added that the accused dedicated the offences someday in November 2018 at his residence.

The offences, in line with the prosecutor, contravenes sections 135 and 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015 (revised) and Section 10 of the Child Rights Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Olufunke Sule-Amzat, ordered that {the teenager} be remanded within the correctional house and that the case file be duplicated and a duplicate despatched to the state Director of Public Prosecutions for recommendation.

The Justice of the Peace adjourned the case until April eight for point out.
