The Delta State Commissioner For Higher Education, Engr Jude Sinebe in partnership with The Revive Africa Initiative, an NGO over the weekend rescued the academic pursuit of a 300L student of the Delta State University, Abraka from dropping out.

The Revive Africa Initiative had published on it’s official facebook page the story of one Faith AGHARIAHA, a 300level English Student, who was about to drop out as she couldn’t realise enough money to meet up the payment deadline of all outstanding fees.

According to reports, few minutes after her plea for assistance was published, Professor Anthony Omoregie from Edo state pledged to support her with #5,000 after which Sinebe requested for the NGO’s account number and offset her outstanding fees by paying all in full.

The beneficiary who was full of excitement thanked the Honorable commissioner and the NGO for coming to her aid at the critical time as the issue had given her sleepless nights over the few days.

Reacting to the benevolence of the Education Commissioner, Amb. Ugagaoghene Ogheneyole, Director General (Operations) of the Revive Africa Initiative appreciated him for his humanitarian gestures and urged responsive members of the society to support those in need and make Africa a better place.

Prof. Anthony Omoregie also directed that his #5,000 donation should be given to her as upkeep and admonished her to face her studies squarely as God has smiled on her and shown her favour.

The Revive Africa Initiative is an NGO focused on rendering humanitarian services to those in need in the contemporary African society.

With volunteers drawn from across the country, having met the needs of many,  Revive African Initiative wishes to do more and has called on well meaning Africans to key into the initiative as volunteers to engage in many more humanitarian services.
