Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose who was granted bail by Justice Mojisola Olatoregun has fulfilled his bail conditions and has regained freedom after spending 13days in detention.
His aide, Lere Olayinka , shared the news on Twitter , @OlayinkaLere, tweeted , “ Fayose just regained his freedom. He left the Federal High Court , Ikoyi a few minutes ago. We will meet @ officialEFCC at the court from November 19. Thank you Nigerians . ”
The former governor is facing a N2.2bn fraud charge brought against him by the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
In line with Fayose detention over corruption , he has replied the Anglican bishop of Ekiti Diocese through his media secretary who clapped back at the former governor quoting that the Fayose administration was a wasteful Four years.
Fayose insist that even the blind saw his good governance in Ekiti State sounding that the Anglican Cleric needs to change his spectacles .
