I HAVE BEEN PAID; OMOAGEGE WITHDRAWS SUIT AGAINST SARAKI

The senator representing Delta Central in the National Assembly, Senator Ovie OmoAgege had on Thursday withdrawn a case he filed against Senate President, Bukola Saraki at the Federal High Court, Abuja.

The lawmaker had prayed the court to commit the Senate President to prison for not acknowledging the nullification of his suspension and also for not paying him his entitlements.

At the resumed hearing of the suit, OmoAgege notified the court of his intention to withdraw the charge as the Senate President had on October 12th issued nine cheques after he was warned by trial Justice Nnamdi Dimgba to either pay the judgment debt or appear in person to take his plea on the contempt charge against him.
