Miss Elo Ogege, a 300L Student of Mass Communication in the  Faculty Of Social Sciences, Delta State University, Abraka who was declared missing over the weekend has been reported dead. 

Miss Elo Ogege was declared missing days after receiving a phone call from a security guard, Onos Ekana of the State University (an ex-convict, whom according to the police was released two weeks ago after 8years, name unknown) to come to the school premises so as to visit a lecturer on the basis that she wants to rent one of the school lodge belonging to this unknown lecturer (MTN revealed this after a call trace) on the 15th of November 2018. That was the last time Elozino was seen or heard from.

According to the information gathered, the body of the deceased was exhumed from the Umeghe axis of the University community where it was buried with the breasts, eyes and heart removed.

According to police sources,  two suspected yahoo boys have been arrested alongside the security guard while one is said to be at large and they are being detained at the command headquarters in Asaba as investigation to unravel the ritual killing continues.

Ekana gave the name of one of the suspects as Emudiaga as he was the one that kept custody of the victim before she was murdered for a monthly payment of N30,000 if the ritual pushes through.

Reacting to the death of her sister, Faith Ogege, sibling to the deceased said she has been informed of the development but hopes that the exhumed corpse was not that of her sister. She also said the mother is unaware of the situation as she is attending a church programme in Lagos.

Sympathising with the family of the victim, Prince Ukuanovwe Godstime, The Director Of Special Interventions of The National Union Of Nigerian Students, has released a statement expressing shock and berating the Nigeria Police Force and every security apparatus that albeit and aid crimes knowingly and unknowingly.
