Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai, has mentioned there’s nothing price celebrating in regards to the go to of Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to the US.
El-Rufai acknowledged this on the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential rally within the state on Friday.
Atiku visited the US for the primary time in 13 years on Thursday.
The APC had repeatedly mentioned he was working away from investigations by the US authorities.
Commenting on the go to, which has received many individuals mocking the APC, el-Rufai mentioned members of the PDP needs to be crying for Atiku as an alternative of celebrating him.
“Atiku is in America after begging for 12 years to get visa and other people within the PDP are celebrating as an alternative of crying. So rapidly, going to America is an achievement?
“Mr. President, I first went to America once I was 23 years previous, it isn’t an achievement, however within the minds of the PDP, getting a visa after begging for 12 years is an achievement.
“Do you want to vote those who will go to Trump before they come back to Nigeria? Do you want those who will take all your money to America? Atiku Abubakar should be explaining to Nigerians why he did not go to America for 12 years,” el-Rufai mentioned.
