Kaduna Central Senator,  Shehu Sani has urged the Federal Government to implement the N30000 minimum wage demanded by labour leaders as it means paying them N1000 per day.

Sani reacting to the National Labour Congress and United Labour Congress  threats to commence an indefinite strike from November 6th, insisted that the government can afford to pay a N30000 minimum wage.

According to him, “It’s fair and just for the FG to agree to 30k as minimum wage. That means 1k per day.
“This country can afford more than that in reality.” he posted on twitter.

Meanwhile, the erstwhile APC senator is yet to announce his new political party affiliation after he resigned from the APC over controversies with El-rufai witnessed during the primaries in Kaduna State.
