Transformer cable thief ‘roasted’ after electricity was restored during operation

A transformer cable thief has reportedly met his waterloo after electricity providers  restored electricity during operation in Kaduna.

According to our source, Jay Mokwuah , the man(name withheld) was reported to have successfully removed some of the cables but greed made him want to steal more when  electricity was restored, which electrocuted him beyond recognition.

He was trying to steal a part from the transformer the part is like 30000 a piece when he started they brought light.

Meanwhile, Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, has asked Nigerians not to pay for meter service charge and the electricity bill if there is outage for more than two weeks.

Chairman NERC, Prof. James Momoh, broke made this known at the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) launch of the MAP in Abuja on Friday.
