Former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan took to micro-blogging site Twitter to raise an alarm that a fake copy of his book, My Transition Hours, launched on Tuesday, is being pirated online by mischief makers.

The pirated e-version of the book has 254pages as against the original which has 194 pages and has been trending on whatsapp and other social media sites.

He advised the general public to disregard the pirated copy as it doesn’t contain the same chapters and contents as the original hard-copy unveiled at a lavish event held at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja and sold for N10,500 (hardback) and N5,000 (paperback).

“We have just been informed that a fake document contrived by mischief makers is being passed on as the e-version and hard copy of the just launched ‘#MyTransitionHours’, Mr Jonathan stated on Twitter.
